Helan Tredwell wins Blue Chip GRAND PRIX 2008

Helen Tredwell winning blue chip grand prixHelen Tredwell and her fantastic horse Opportunity B won the Blue Chip Winter Championship Grand PRIX on the Friday night of the Blue Chip Championships at it's new venue of Hartpury College. Last to go and chasing a very good time set up Matt Lanni's very promising horse Novella, Helen and Opportunity B setup about it in their usual full throttle way. Probably one of the most athletic horses in the country at this height, Opportunity B and Helen put up a great display in the jump-off to catch Matt and take the last indoor Grand PRIX of Spring 2008. Tim Gredley's Toklund - ridden by Keith Shore continue to make great strides coming an excellent third with John Crippen and the improving Loughnatousa Raven forth.

The Juniors main class the JC/JA Championship was won by Chad Fellows riding Snatch, who put up an excellent performnace to catch the very talented young rider Megan James on Sprite. Megan also finished third on the inform Floating Change.

Tim Gredly wins first Sunshine Tour GRAND PRIX of 2008

tim gredley riding fabriannaTim's great start to the 2008 Sunshine Tour in Spain got even better on Sunday after he won the Grand PRIX on Fabriana. Having already shown a return to form earlier in the week, Tim and Fabriana were the only combination to jump double clear, in what was a very competitive field, to collect the €5,000 first prize. "Absolutely delighted" said Tim "It has taken longer than we thought to get her back to her old self, but I knew she was in good form after jumping very well on Friday, now we're just looking to maintain this consistent form for the rest of the sunshine tour, and hopefully the 2008 summer season."

Daniel Neilson wins at International CSI** at Villeneuve-Loubet

dan neilson imageDaniel Neilson has been in excellent form at the International CSI** show at Villeneuve - Loubet. Dan had enjoyed some good results with the younger horses he has taken to France but really stepped up on day four with a fabulous win on High Tone Z in the 1.35m Big Tour event comprising of 119 starters. "We popped him round earlier in the week and he felt good so I thought we would have a chance today. The horse is very talented and it's a good start for this talented mare" said a delighted Dan. Completing an excellent day, Dan then proceded to jump double clear and finish an excellent 2nd on Disco in the 6yr Old Final - 90 starters. "I'm really excited about the young horses, this is the first time the've jumped in a big arena with this kind of atmosphere. We're all looking forward to the season ahead and seeing them progress."
